Question : hi I had a Bartholin cyst drained 11 days ago and had hemorrhaging from the incision stich at the ER early Saturday morning at 1-2am and still have blood seeping through the the stitches. it's not a lot like it was before but more than I think it should be from being stitched to close incision wound. Do you think a vessel has been cut into?

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic.
It is common to have slight bleeding after cyst treatment.
But I would like to have a look at the lesion and if possible kindly send a picture of the lesion.
But in general try to sit as much as possible so that there is pressure on stitches which will relieve from pain and bleeding both.
Take care
Regards
Dr Manisha

                                    Brief Answer:
Wait for 1-2 days
Detailed Answer:
Yes dear, if you are comfortable in sending me the same as it will be completely confidential.
But in case the bleeding and pain is within normal limits then nothing to worry and just wait for 1-2 days.
In case bleeding persists or increases then visit your gynecologist for examination.
All the best

No additional treatment needed
Detailed Answer:
I have seen the attached pictures and in my opinion you don't need any extra treatment.
You can take the pain killers and antibiotics as advised and keep the area clean and dry.
It will heal soon.
