Brief Answer:
it needs to be evaluated

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion menopause is set to reach when there are no periods for 6 months.Any bleeding or spotting after 6 months is considered as postmenopausal bleeding(PMB) and it needs to be evaluated.
As you have reached menopause 10 years back and bleeding now is PMB.
PMB might be due to cervical or endometrial abnormalities.
You might need a physical examination of cervix and if its found unhealthy a cervical biopsy might be done.
And to rule out endometrial abnormalities a D&C is done.D&C is a simple procedure where in endometrium is scraped and tissue is sent for histological examination to rule out any abnormality like malignancy.
My aim is not to make you tense madam but they need to be excluded .So kindly discuss regarding them with your doctor .
Dont worry madam.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.
