Question: i have a slight swell just behind upper incissors near the root of teeth. it is almost three months. no pain, only irritation. what it can be

Read your query slight swelling behind upper incisors can be due to some reason :
-Trauma (inflamation of gingiva )
-Periodontal infection (inflamation of periodontal ligaments , Periodontal Abscess) Or
-Dental infection in your teeth might be due to caries result in small collection of pus Periapical Abscess.

If possible kindly upload image of swelling that will be more helpful for me to arrive at conclusion and give your proper diagnosis .

Based on the details provided I will suggest you to do some remedies :
-Maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing twice daily.
- Do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day .
- Use chlorhexidine mouthwash regularly .
-You can Apply ointment like Gum paint on gums that will help you in reducing inflamation of gums .
