Question : I have r.a. and, when I get in direct sunlight I get small blisters ( not water blisters). I take no medications for my r.a. Nor anything else.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a condition called photodermatitis. Patients with this condition have an allergic type reaction to sun exposure.

The best treatment for this is to avoid direct and prolonged sun exposure and to always use sun screen. Even in winter some patients do better with using a sun screen on their face every day.

This condition will not harm you but can be very uncomfortable.
