Question : I have 6 very small pin dot bruises on my forearm. They are flat, do not itch and seem to be under the skin. I do not recall hurting myself, although yesterday I did walk a half marathon. I have no other symptoms and feel otherwise fine. No other bruises and no excessive bleeding. I did have strep throat a month ago and I was treated with amoxicillin and recovered just fine.
Brief Answer:
Wait and watch (observe)
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Strep-throat or amoxicillin can not cause this after such a long time.
Since there are neither other symptoms, nor other bruises nor bleeding, you can just wait and watch/ observe.
Walking half marathon should also would not really cause this.
Just Observe the spots and development at other sites. If there is any other Signs or symptoms consult a Doctor. Otherwise these should heal on its own.
I hope you are sure to have no trivial injury yesterday.
