What Causes Small Bump On Inside Of Anal Opening?

Question: Hi, I notice a little bump or ball shape "nodule "on the side of my anus...about a week ago it appeared. No hard bowel movements. Its really the same type of skin my anus is, its just kind of on the side..It doesn't hurt and I don't notice it during the day but I can feel it when I shower/clean it or wipe. Its almost like i can massage it "back in",but it doesn't stay in..is this a hemorrhoid? Will it go away? I put some prep h on it for a week but no change. And then i tried cortizone 10 and still no change.I am otherwise very healthy and I eat lots if fiber. Never had anything like this. .

Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
Since you are able to push it back in, the most likely cause is hemorrhoids.
If possible please post a picture of it so that I can have a look and confirm the diagnosis.

what do you think?
Brief Answer:
External hemorrhoids
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for uploading the picture.
If you mean the small bump at the 11 0 clock position of your anal opening, then it external hemorrhoids.
If your bowel movements are good and you take adequate fibers, then the ony treatment option left is surgery.
I hope that answers your question.
