Question : i am 28 year old married man, and having small cuts on the penis due to which there is burning sensation. The skin on the tip of the penis ii also dry. The main issue is that I'am a diabetic person. Would you please let me the problem for this and i have been using the medication for this problem but the problem still persist I'am from XXXXXXX I request you to suggest me which doctor should I meet Specialised doctor. Is this problem due to use of antibiotics.

Welcome to HCM. I've gone through your question and understand your concerns.

What you are suffering from is a condition known as balanitis- which is an infection of penis seen in diabetes. It could be a result of uncontrolled diabetes.

Please share with us your latest lab reports of blood glucose and HBA1c. How good is your blood sugar controlled?

Usually the infection in penis is a fungal infection later adding bacterial infection. So you need to be started on antibiotics and antifungals. Please consult a diabetologist or dermatologist and assess the extend of infection. In severe cases you should get Injectable antibiotics and insulin to control the situation.

It is preferable to abstain from things that aggravate skin trauma like sexual inter course till the healing has started.

This problem is not due to use of antibiotics. We have limitations to suggest a particular doctor in this forum. There are good diabetes centres in your place.
