Hi,
Thanks for your query.
You are describing a penile wart. Penile warts are caused by a virus, and can be transmitted during sex. It is important to use a condom to prevent transmission of the virus to your partner.
Penile warts can be removed by a dermatologist (with a topical treatment, freezing, or by minor surgery). For a specific diagnosis and treatment or your problem, see a dermatologist.
regards,

Hi,
Thanks for the photo - it's still a bit unclear, but there are several possibilities for it - wart is still likely, but other kinds of infections are also possible. If you haven't already had them, a blood test for syphilis (RPR or VDRL), a swab of your urethra for gonorrhea, and a first-voided urine test for chlamydia are all indicated. If there is any discharge or opening in the skin, then a swab and culture of that should also be done for diagnosis. If the bump is painless, and hasn't changed in a year, (and if the above tests are negative) you could have it removed.
Again, it is important to use condoms when you have sexual relations.
If you are concerned about this, recommend you see a dermatologist for a specific diagnosis. Hope that helps. Good luck.
