What Causes Small Raised Lump In Groin Area?

Folliculitis likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached image. This seems to be a small raised bump. It can happen due to an infected hair follicle or a gland.
It usually has pus inside and needs an antibiotic and anti inflammatory drug for treatment. These will go by itself and new ones can form and the cycle can go on for some time.
They are usually seen in patients who wear tight underclothes or jeans for a long time.
More common in Summers.
Just try to keep your genital area open or in loose clothes for some time each day and drink lots of water.
Though you are not having typical symptoms we cannot exclude the possibility of herpes also.
As at first it can also present with painful area, later lesions, crusting etc can occur.
In case the lesion is painful and is persistent then do get yourself evaluated for herpes also.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.

Do a hot compress to let out the pus.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
You can do a hot compress on the area thrice a day to let out the pus. Squeezing it will be more painful.
Hope my answer is helpful.
