What Causes Solid Embossed Muscles In Neck Region In A Child?

I am noticing an unusual (may be usual but new to me) thing in my 3 year son. It is kind of solid embossed muscles at side neck (both side). It can be easily seen. I am not sure what it is.. a neighbor told me that it is "guilty" (may be world or spelling is wrong). As of now, its is not creating any problem.
See the attached image.
Please advise.
Thanks,
XXXX XXXXXXX
It appears to be lymph node(gilty in common term)
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
I have gone through the image. It appears to be lymph node swelling.
The lymph nodes are part of our immune system. There are number of lymph nodes in the neck region which are usually invisible. In children of this age lymph node swelling in neck region is quite common.
The character of lymph node swelling is that it is usually globular XXXXXXX not fixed to skin and painless. Most of the time it is detected incidentally by parents and remain asymptomatic.
It usually decreases in size as the baby grows.
I won't get worried if it is not rapidly enlarging in size and number, there is no pain, redness or fever associated with swelling.
I agree with your neighbor as in common term it is called Gilty.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Regards
