Brief Answer:
Herpes genitalis: tests of IgM & IgG for HSV 1 & 2

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for slightly sore bumps on foreskin.

As per the history and the clinical appearance of the bumps in the picture it appears to be Herpes genitalis.

It is based on following medical facts:

- Herpes lesions manifest itself as small grouped vesicles (fluid filled blisters) arranged closely. These remains for just a day or two and then forms ulcers which are mild to moderately sore or painful. These ulcers then heals in next 7-14 days.

To begin with also these vesicles are itchy with discomfort and once the vesicles burst in a day or two then the ulcers which are formed heals in next 7-14 days.

In yourself I can make out that the symptoms and clinical appearance is matching with herpes.

You can visit your doctor and get your tests of IgM & IgG for HSV 1 & 2 to confirm the same.

As these are healing so no medications are required and would be healing in next 5-7 days.

Do not try to touch the area in anxiousness as can get infected. Avoid intercourse for few days and later also use a condom for best protection.

I hope above informations will help you. I will be glad to answer any further of your queries.

Brief Answer:
Cold and flu like symptoms can be felt.

Detailed Answer:
Hello young fellow,

Welcome again to the forum and thanks for your follow up.

You can feel cold and flu like symptoms if you have herpes for the first time.

Though now itself there is no need of any anti viraltrtreatment but you can take paracetamol to reduce the symptoms.

My best wishes for early recovery.
With regards,
