Question : My gums are extremely sore, I have swollen glands, achy muscles, and I'm tired. I've taken cipro for two days, but I'm not sure it's working.

As per your history, you need to get deep scaling for swollen gums.
Also go for complete check up with Bite-wing xray to rule out any caries.
Send me reports of x-ray so that i can diagnose.
