Question : i woke up this morning with my left breast really sore, my nipple looks purple and a nodule with a white dot in the middle. its causing nu whole breast to hurt. should i be concerned. i feel normal otherwise

Thank you for the query.

Your symptoms are most likely caused by some infection of this breast. It may be a cyst or an abscess. This are the most probable issues.
However as there is a cancer which can act like infection (called inflammatory breast cancer) you can not ignore this symptoms.

I suggest you to consult gynecologist. Breast ultrasound should be done at first. If its an abscess, should be drained. If a lump will be found, biopsy should be done.
