Spicy food predisposes to reflux and sore throat
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms
Sore throat usually occurs due to upper respiratory tract infection. If your XXXXXXX Oesophagus is related to Gastrooesophageal reflux , the acid reflux could initiate sore throat.
The Submandibular lymph nodes usually enlarge secondary to sore throat. They are not the cause of sore throat but effect of it. Submandibular salivary glands do not cause any sore throat.
Increased consumption of spicy food could worsen already preexisting reflux and predispose to sire throat.
I hope I have resolved your query.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care
Best regards
