Thanks for the concern.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Since most of he sore throats are due to viral infection,there is no need for any antibiotic. Even if sore throat is due to bacterial infection,antibiotics dont have much effect on the severity of symptoms.
What to do....
Warm saline gargles 4-5 times a day.
Throat losenzes to be sucked
Take paracetamol for fever or body ache.
Avoid smoking and ice cold drinks.
You should be all right in next 3-5 days.
