Question : My 13 yr old daughter has a rash on her stomach and slightly on her back. No fever, no itching but she was sick last week it started with sore throat, congestion, and now just a dry cough and rash. It's been a week, i made a dr appt but I'm nervous. She's eating well, playing in pool, going to school as normal and feels fine except the cough.

Hello. I just read through your question.
It doesn't sound like there is much to worry about here. Rashes are very common with illnesses that produce a sore throat. as long as she remains otherwise well, we do not need to worry. you are right in having her seen by her doctor just to be safe. but between now and the appointment, no concern.
