Brief Answer:
Add antacid and steam inhalation....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the list of symptoms you have - sore throat, waking up in the morning with phlegm, mild to moderate nasal congestion and chest pain. I have also noted that you don't record fever or cough.

Now the symptoms such as these are commonly associated with two medical condition
1) An upper respiratory condition with post nasal drip
2) Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Since you have tried antihistamine and cough medication with relatively poor outcome. I would add antacid / prilosec otc twice daily to be taken half an hour before food, regular steam inhalation during the day and nasal irrigation with netipot before sleep.

You might try the aforementioned option for couple of weeks and see if you get better. If it doesn't help you then I will recommend you visit an ENT surgeon for x-ray and scopy.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarification.

Regards
