Question : I have a very sore tongue, on the end and around the edge and also a sore bottom lip. I had open heart surgery 5 months ago and take 4 different pills, typical pills for heart attack patient. The tongue pain has been for last 6 days seems to worsen when pollen count increases. I live in high pollen count area and take a claretin daily. Have tried flo nase, and now a friend has suggested singular and or benedryl . My heart is doing good but I am concerned about different medicenes. What would you do? I have an appoint with family doc. Monday

Add some aerosols

I can understand your concern,

According to the history you explained, if you were my patient I would add in your current treatment aerosol with steroids (like Budesonide twice) for three or four days.

And Levocetirizine (eg. Xyzal) once before sleeping for a week
