Question : i'm having soreness/discomfort below my ribcage on my left side. Is that where your liver is?

It seems to hurt more in the morning, and when the discomfort is at its worst, I feel waves of nausea.

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Liver is on right side not on left side. You have nausea so you need to have ultrasound of abdomen as there can many causes of nausea related to pancreas, liver and stomach etc. You can take metaclopramide(perinorm )for symptomatic relief of nausea.
