Question : My 7 yr old daughter complained yesterday that she had "sore" under her arm. I didn't find anything. This morning she woke us with a headache and now has slight swelling and soreness. She also in complaining of soreness in her neck.

Hello,

By what you say I feel that your daughter is having a viral infection and with soreness in the arm and with neck soreness - both of which could be due to lymphadenopathy - along with a headache.

I feel that it could be an infectious mononucleosis infection.

As of now, I suggest you give her IBUPROFEN at the appropriate dose and get her checked by a physician or Pediatrician as soon as possible, please.
