Question : I woke up this morning and had soreness to the right of the bone running down my right leg. I was going to
the gym for about two weeks almost every day and I stopped going and yesterday I went walking in the park and today I woke up with this soreness in my leg. Could the pain in my leg be caused because I didn't exercise for two weeks and then went walking for the first time yesterday?

Brief Answer:
Yes.It is probably related to this fact.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
If you would have presented to me with this complaint as an outpatient,I would have asked you that -Do you have any past disease/medical history?
If the answer to this question is 'NO',then this complaint is due to the very fact, that you had missed exercise after doing regular exercises for many days. This is a very common phenomenon in those going to gym regularly.
Hope that helps. If you have some follow-up questions,I shall be glad to answer them.
Regards
