Question : Hi got scratched by raccoon back of leg 15 months ago. Got treated in hospital within 3 hrs for rabies and had vaccines over one month. My leg is sore again now / I take it that pep is 100 per cent efffective and this just might be scar tissue irritating me
Brief Answer:
NOthing more to do with rabies!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
I have reviewed your information fully and there is no risk for having scabies again. Just the time lapse between the incident and the symptoms makes it impossible. The vaccination against rabies only further strengthens this idea.
I hope this helps clear your fears and worries. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
Kind regards!
