What Causes Soreness Of Joints?

He has no other symptoms like fatigue, fever, etc.
Has he been training actively now?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
Has he been training heavily these days? Also, are the joints sore only or are they also swollen?
If they are only sore and not swollen, this may represent tendinitis crisis which depends on what group of muscles and corresponding tendons have been greatly used recently. However, if the joints are swollen, there are high chances that this could be arthrits and would warrant further investigations.
In either case, pain medications like Ibuprofen and Tylenol would prove helpful to him at this time at doses recommended by his pharmacist. Resting the affected joints from intense physical activity and ice packs would also be helpful in controlling the pain and accelerating haling.
I will like to get answers to the above questions. depending on the response, I will make more suggestions and provide personalized recommendations on how to help address this problem.

Plus, he has gone through a lot of constant stress in the last year and a half from constant studying and testing in the service. Just finished his training and will start normal working hoursl
Otherwise, he's a healthy, active young man.
He said he cut down on his running about a month ago.
Am I still waiting for a reply?
With training over, let's monitor a little longer!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up information.
I believe the intense training might be responsible for this and likely in the form of tendinitis. With the intense training and tests over and a marked reduction in the intensity of exercises, I believe healing would set in. For now, pain medications as suggested above would help and symptoms should progressively get better.
I hope this helps. I wish your son a speedy recovery. Feel free to ask for more information if need be.
