Question : I still have a sour tasting burning feeling to my tongue mouth for past month, i tested positive for h pylori. I always test positive for h pylori. Could these symptoms be related to h pylori? I had a GI series in which i had to drink barium and results to that exam was normal.. What do you recommend? What do you think this could be?

I can certainly understand your concern.

I have worked through your question in detail.

All your symptoms are directly related H pylori gastroesophagitis.

I advise you to get an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for a better assessment of your symptoms.

You require anti hpylori antibiotics for 2 weeks.

H pylori kit will be available that contains 3 sets of medications to be used over 2 weeks.

The kit is available as HP-KIT Combi-kit: omeprazole (2 ec-caps) 20 mg, amoxicillin (2 fc-tabs) 750 mg, tinidazole (2 fc-tabs) 500 mg.
