Brief Answer:
Following advice

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Sometimes, it is common for muscle spasms to appear after spinal surgery due to local micro-trauma. They will disappear by time.

What I can suggest to you is to talk with your neurologist and the surgeon who did the surgery in order to rule out any possible complication (which is rare to happen). If everything is OK, then usually patients are advised to:
- avoid positions that would trigger the spasms
- applying alternating warm and cold clothing but with caution
- if fail, your neurologist would prescribe baclofen, benzodiazepines, etc.

Discuss further with neurologist.
All the best.
