Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com
This is Dr. Swarnava dattagupta answering your query.
I understand your concern.
See, first of all, let me tell you that you are severely underweight and malnourished. You weigh 32Kg and your height is 5 feet. Your BMI or body mass index comes as 13.78 only and it is very less compared to the normal range which is around 18.50-24.99. See, malnutrition has got many side effects, among which tiredness, fatigue, lethargy and head reeling are very common. You are experiencing similar symptoms. There are many long term effects also and you would not like to have those. So, take some strict steps towards increasing your weight. You need to gain some 15Kgs to get into proper range.
Also, not wearing glasses in spite of having some eye power is not a smart thing to do; sometimes increased eye power can cause headache and head reeling sensation.
I would ask you to do the following-
1. Increase your body weight. You should go to a DIETITIAN and get a proper diet chart done. Then you can follow that chart regularly.
2. Avoid fatty and junk food, take more carbohydrates, dietary fibers, some proteins etc and plenty of fluid orally. Your dietitian will include all the required things in your diet.
3. Probably you are taking drugs for your GERD. If not, take pantoprazole-levosulpiride combination once daily in the morning for 15 days.
4. Get blood for hemoglobin, tsh, t3, t4, serum iron, TIBC, serum ferritin, fasting and postprandial blood sugar done.
5. Go to your ophthalmologist and get your eye checked for refraction. If you have got some power, wear secs regularly.
6. Do brisk exercise regularly.
7. Take tab cinnarizine 25mg twice daily for 3 days, then SOS.
You can consult with your doctor and get the above prescribed.
Get back to me with the reports and dietitian consultation.
Hope i have answered your question.
If you have any further questions i will be happy to help.
Regards
