What Causes Spontaneous Erection Of The Penis During Sleep?

Question: I am 51 years old male having high Blood Pressure, Diabetes and high cholesterol
Taking medicine 40mg teldey, Gemer Forte 1, Arvast 10 and plybion daily
I am controlling every thing with exercise and prescribed medicines.
My problem is that when I go to bed for sleeping ,with in two hours of sleep my penis erect too hard that my sleep is disturbed and I pass urine and become normal. After urination when I start getting sleep my penis again erect and disturb my sleep. This is happening since last three years and took no medicine for this abnormality. In between some time automatically I get sleep. I Enjoy sex weekly twice without any problem. Due to erection problem my sleep is always disturbed. Please name the decease and remedy for that. Suggest some good doctor in XXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

I do not get sound sleep while getting up in the morning full body has stiffness and pain Every day except Sunday I use to walk daily 5.8KM in the morning. In evening do stretch exercises for half an hour. Dinner I take two chapatis( loaf) and vegetables
Do not drink and smoke and no addiction of any kind. Root cause for not getting sleep is penis most of the time in night is erected I have to pass urine then it become normal again when sleep start it start erecting and disturb sleep. The quantity of urine passed is not too high some time small and some time normal quantity as usal. In day time there is no problem

You are facing problem of getting hard erection during sleep .This is mostly due to increased blood flow to bladder and prostate resulting from congestion of bladder and prostate during sleep .

Taking following general measures will help to reduce the congestion of bladder and prostate
1) Avoid drinking water after 8 P.M
2) Empty your bladder before going to bed .
3) Avoid watching erotic pictures or thoughts before going to bed
4) Make a habit to wake up once to empty your bladder .

This should help to resolve the issue to certain extent .

Get following basic tests done to establish diagnosis
1) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis
2) Color Doppler ultrasound scanning of penis and consult qualified Urologist with reports .

Taking Tomsulosin once daily at night will hekp .
