
What Causes Sporadic Sharp Pain Inside The Left Calf Muscle?

Question : Hi. My husband is 65. He is having sporadic sharp pains to the inside of his left calf muscle. It doesn't seem to be related to activity. Sometimes he's just sitting still. Sometimes walking or just standing.

the type of pain ...if it is electrical then a nerve is involved soreness at a joint or a muscle that is sore implies where the problem is
at the side of the calf is mainly muscles.
this can be from spasms...common and muscle relaxants and. of all things. Parkinson's drugs. this is called restless leg and there is usually jumping muscles associated with it.
can be lack of blood to the area. usually with discoloration or changes in temperature
or just a sore muscle
