What Causes Spotting After Intake Of Unwanted 72 Pill?

Question: Hi I am a married woman of 35 years. I have had unprotected sex with my husband on the 15th of August. I ha an unwanted 72 the next day afternoon well within 72 hours as prescribed. Expected period date is on 27th of August 2016 .however my periods have been delayed. I got some very slight spotting on the 1st for a couple of hours. I have still not got my periods yet. Should I be going for a pregnancy test or is the delay due to the pill? When should I be expecting my periods next depending on my cycle

Next cycle will be ontime considering 1st spotting as periods.

Hi I had unprotected sex with my husband on the 15th of August and on 16th of August I had unwanted 72 well within the recommended 72 hours.My periods are due on the 26 August /27th of every month.On the1st got some slight spotting which lasted for a couple of hours only. On twelfth night I got very heavy tramps and I thought my periods have started. Next day morning there was only slight brownish clot discharge everything stopped after that again today that is the 16th I had a heavy flow for for a couple of hours and again it has stopped and I am only getting brown clots. Is this my periods? Is there any need for concern.kindly advice when should I be getting my next regular periods and why is this clotting and blood flow happening so abruptly. Thanks in advance.

This is your periods. There is no need of any concern.

There might be some variation in getting next periods. DIfficult to predict if its going to be ontime. Anyway wait for next periods.

This clot and bleeding is due to the pill you had taken. This leads to disturbance in hormones and hence such episode.
