What Causes Spotting After Using A Pessary?

Question: Is it bad to have blood spotting after using a pessary? Three weeks into a new prescription of the pill ( Ovranette) .After sleeping with my boyfriend last week I noticed the symptoms of what I thought was thrush ( I am prone to it). After sleeping with him again there was slight blood discharge ( very light) and now after going to the doctor and getting prescribed econazole nitrate pessary there is blood discharge- is this normal and part of thrush?

Ok and would that have caused the thrush like symptoms too? This is my first time on the pill ( and being sexually active) no not sure what is normal. My last period was 2 weeks ago and yes am using the 21 day pack so have a week left.

If this kind of spotting persists, you should have an internal gynec exam and a pap smear plus ultrasound scan.

Just wait and see if this stops, it should, once you are onto your second pack.
