What Causes Spotting Along With Vaginal Burning Sensation And Pain After Intercourse?
Question: My husband and I had sex recently and the next morning I had a burning and seemingly some inflammation or small cuts. It went away after about 3 days but then I have had old and fresh blood everytime I wipe and some is even coming out onto a light pad. I thought it was the start of my period but it has been two days and it just continues to be spotting. I have no pain or odor. I don't know if this will just go away on its own or if it could be an issue. Thank you!
Brief Answer:
Diagnosis should be confirmed
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Spotting, burning and pain after the intercourse can be due to vaginal infection, local lesions in the cervix or vagina like polyp, premalignant or malignant.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist for proper internal examination, vaginal swab and pap smear examination and get further treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
