I had a cyst removed from the fallopian tube a few years ago and recently i have been experiencing some stained spotting and what feels like period pain. The abdomonal area is slightly tender. Do you think i need a scan of the pelvic region?

Pelvic scan is definitely indicated
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms
I agree with you. You definitely need a pelvic scan . Apart from it you will also need cervical biopsy and endometrium biopsy depending on the scan findings .
Any post menopause bleeding should be thoroughly investigated. The cause for bleeding can be as simple as Chronic cervicitis that is inflammation of cervix.
I would suggest you to consult your Gynecologist who would do a thorough pelvic examination including taking a preliminary PAP smear.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care
Best Regards
