Question : Hi, I am currently on the birth control nexplanon. I've only been on it a few months. I normally have spotting but all of a sudden right after sexual intercourse yesterday I went to pee & seen blood coming out. Not thinking much of it. I just go to sleep. I wake up soaked in blood. Also the blood seems to be a very bright red. I have horrible stomach cramps. What should I do?

this may be uterine bleeding. you may need medication or a procedure to stop the bleeding.
