Question : I have had gastric sleeve surgery 3 months ago. In the last 45 days,i have seen spotting, a bloody discharge. Then i had a vaginal infection and have taken antibiotics for it. Since i have started the course of tablets, i have started bleeding. Its been 7 days. Should i be concerned.
Brief Answer:
Surgical stress can be the causative factor
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Any surgery and stress can lead to hormonal disturbances and irregular bleeding.
Vaginal infection and antibiotics do not lead to irregular periods.
There is nothing to worry if there is no further irregular bleeding.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
