What Causes Stabbing Sharp Pain In Right Temple And Lightheadedness?
Question: I've been having stabbing sharp pain in my right temple.doesnt last very long about three times yesterday.today feel a little lightheaded and little out of it. it's not a migraine because I have had them.After it happened it felt warm inside and like something flowing.

First, nobody I know with migraine has them be identical throughout their lives, so, migraine... if I am being very very stupid about it, is the definite answer.
The reason I said being stupid about it, is first, with pain, you go with what is in the area that could hurt and see what is likely the cause. There is slight muscle, nerves, and blood vessels. the nerves in that area go around near the nose and the mouth... so, blood vessels are the area around the temple that causes pain around the temple. Sinuses would be inside. Eye would have prominent visual issues.
The reason it is stupid is I am lumping a HUGE number of different diseases into the context of migraine when they are not really called migraine. However, in all of these disorders, the blood vessel near the temple is spasmed and it hurts. This is the same PROCESS as in migraine. In migraine, this occurs due to stimulatino of the brain, caffeine, caffeine withdrawal, other medications/drugs, lack of rest, odors, many triggers. There is also an auto-immune disease that it is localized to the vessel of the temple. Mostly both sides. This is a very serious condition that can rapidly cause blindness. It is called TEMPORAL ARTERITIS (irritation of the artery of the temple).
