I have a frequent bowl movement since five days. The stool is soft, sticky, mucous with some dark blood in it and a quantity is small. Five days back felt some constipation problem so I took one tablet of dulcolax. So far I tied Metronidazol, Norfloxacine with lactic acid Bacilli, Tinidazole but couldent get relief. Please suggest me medication.

Brief Answer:
If infection not treatd,consult gastroenterologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

The drugs that you have been prescribed suggest that you are suffering from gastrointestinal tract infection.
Blood in stools with an associated infection is called dysentery. Medicine can be suggested after knowing the cause.

In case you are not getting any relief from gastrointestinal symptoms even after taking antimicrobials, you need to consult a gastroenterologist.

I assume that you must have had stool examination. If not, please get stool examination done. A lower gastrointestinal (GIT) endoscopy or colonoscopy needs to be done to look for any abnormality or growth in the lower GIT.

If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.
