What Causes Stiffness Of Muscles In Body After Exercising?

Question: my muscles in my body are stiff and rigid after excersize. doctor states I do not have arthritis. if I sit in hot tub for a bit with my feet over jets...I walk like the tin man on wizard of oz. in the morning I need a cane to walk until my muscles relax. is this a form of stiff-person syndrome

No, this isn't a stiff-man syndrome. In stiff man syndrome the disease starts progressively and takes over a course of time to appear clinically. That has an altogether different presentation and underlying neurological causes. In stiff man syndrome there starts the truncal muscles deformity and spasms first not the ones affected in you. So, forget about that.

Now I want to come to your specific condition. It may be due to many reasons. The exercise is the worst thing for your body if done in a wrong way,in a wrong posture and with an illogical technique that doesn't match the normal anatomical allowance of the body flexibility and postures.

Every exercise is very wisely devised and isn't good for everyone. You are in high need of an instructor for doing a workout. I suggest you to hire workout trainer once you get cured from this episode of stiffness.
