Question : for a few days now i have been feeling a sting pulse in the right side of my neck under the jawbone with some tingling sensations whereas on the left side i have to press a little to feel the pulse. do i need to get it checked?

I also have a cough since a week its getting better with an antibiotic but still not 100% ok. Are the 2 problems related by any chance?

Thanks for the follow up query.

Due to upper respiratory tract infection, lymph node in neck gets swells which are over neck vessels hence transmitted pulsation are felt .

As upper respiratory tract infection - cough gets cured, neck lymph node would decrease. Hence sting pulsation.
