Question : I have stinging, prickly feeling down the out side of my left leg from my knee to my ankle.. It is annoying and disturbing when I lie down. It does not seem as bad when I am standing or walking. I've had it for some time, but it would disappear. Now its gotten worse and is not going away. What could be the problem?

It could be due to compression of nerve root in lower spine. Get an xray/ MRI of lower spine done to diagnose your condition. I suggest you to get it examined by your orthopadician for proper management.
