What Causes Stomach Ache And Diarrhea?

Question: I have slight stomach ache and loose stools, I was in Costa Rica last week. My wife had this but it only lasted 1 day. Also my appetite and energy are low. It feels like a ball in my stomach

This looks to be mild gastroenteritis. May be an antibiotic helps you to get cure. Take plenty fluids,

Its been like this for 5-6 days now, can i get these antibiotics over the counter?

Antibiotics are not available over the counter.
I think you will have to visit a Doctor to get a clinical examination and get a valid prescription for antibiotic.
You get a physical examination, detailed history taking and investigation if your Doctor thinks on examination.
The feeling of ball in the stomach is indicative of gases, and this can be helped with pre and probiotics, curds, banana and activated charcoal tablets.
Anti-diarrhea pills can also give this phenomenon as it altered the motility of the intestines. Please avoid.
