Question : I was not happy with my last answer. I asked when I stand for any length of time , I start hurting throughout my stomach and back . feels like stomach going to explode. I got a reply that was probably anxiety and to exercise the muscles. It is painful and not anxiety. only happens when I stand , not sitting

Brief Answer:
Likely musculoskeletal.Visceral pain don't change with posture change

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain in the back with abdominal involvement on standing only with relief on sitting is neither anxiety nor visceral. Its posture related and likely radiated from the spine where standing puts a lot of pressure and may be compressing the nerve root emerging from it and causing all this problem.

Old age make it more likely as age related degenerative changes in the spine and other bones make them compress and pinch the nerve emerging from it.

Get to a doctor, and let them run some labs to sort it out for you.

Avoid prolonged standing, use some skelaxin and ibuprofen for the relief. Get some massage of the back and spine and see if these measures help.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
