Brief Answer:
need to hold of solids for now

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

She is experiencing mild or early symptoms of gastroenteritis which is inflammation and infection of the gastrointestinal tract.
It can be caused by viral or bacterial infections. Symptoms may include some or all of the following- nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever, loss of appetite

Because her stomach and intestinal lining is inflamed, when she used the solid food,it would have aggravated her symptoms. Her body is not ready for the solid food as yet unless she wishes to use yogurt.

Yogurt contains probiotics which assist in repairing the gastrointestinal tract and help shorten the course of symptoms.

If she does not like yogurts then probiotics can be used on their own from the local pharmacy.

In addition to the yogurt, she can try medications such as pepto bismol which helps with these symptoms.

Fluids would be important especically if she should start to vomit or have diarrhea- they would prevent dehydration. Normally it is best to use very small amounts frequently initially to make sure that she can tolerate it.
This means 1 tsp to 1 tbs every 5 mins for 1 hour.
If tolerated then amount can increase.

She should avoid solid foods for at least 24 hours, may be more is if symptoms worsen and concentrate on probiotics and fluids.
After 24 hours, if symptoms decreasing, then she can restart solid dry foods. If symptoms worsening , may need to hold off for another 12 to 24 hours.

Fluids like gatorade and oral rehydration fluids are best if vomiting or diarrhea should start.

Summary: (1) solid food should be avoided for now
(2)probiotics and fluids
(3)meds like peptobismol would help, this is available over the counter

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
