Question : My wife is having stomach cramps for the past 4 days. She has to rush to the toilet. Some gas and stools is expelled. Stools are semi solid and come in very small sizes. On an average, she has gone atleast 6-7 times in a day and today atleast 10 times. This is precipitated by sitting in an erect posture. Also, she had headache for past 4 days. She had Electral twice today. Today she had Jam and cheese toast in morning, fried egg and two rotis in afternoon with curds, 2 bananas and milk later in afternoon and now one rice and chicken. Her periods have started today. she had MRGFus for her uterine fibroids in July 2013. She has no energy to sit up also. WE have been suggested to take Nor-TZ. Please advise

Detailed answer.....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Your wife is suffering from colitis and she can be given NORFLOX TZ as one tablet twice a day for 5 days.
In addition you can give following things...
One tablet PANTOPROZOLE 40 mg on empty stomach every day for 4-5 days.
Start some probiotic like VIZYLAC twice a day.
Give plenty of liquids
Eat a light diet.
She should be all right in next 4-5 days.
I hope it helps however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
