What Causes Stomach Distress And Shivers?

default
Posted on Tue, 7 Oct 2014
Question: My husband had an unusual episode last night. Woke up with stomach distress (mild) and went to the bathroom. Started having chills (hard shaking chills) and felt like he wanted to lie on the floor and go to sleep. Came back to bed with no energy, panting and blowing with hard body chills that went on for over half hour. Body temperature was 94.5. After about half hour, episode was over. Is this cause for major concern?

Brief Answer:
Get medical help as soon as possible...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

The episode your husban has experienced last night is unusual and a cause for major concern. I highly advise to send him to GI specialist and run further diagnostic tests to find out the right cause for his episode. If you cannot manage to go to GI specialist as soon as possible, then, send him to ER.

Wish fast recovery!
