Brief Answer:
Antispasmodics may be given.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Most often pain around navel is due to a bacterial infection which could be the likely cause of the semi solid stools as well. Usually such infections are self limiting and all you need to do is to give ORS (oral rehydration solution) for replenishment of the lost water and salts. Colpermin (peppermint oil) is an over the counter antispasmodic that might be given to relieve the pain.

If the condition persists or worsens, it might be a good idea to visit a doctor and get the child evaluated.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
