Brief Answer:
It may be hyperacidity due to medicines

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I am Dr.Rajesh Teli, MD. I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.

Mostly your father has Hyperacidity because medication (Mostly Ceruvin F). However these medicines are inevitably important as he has a stent in his artery.

So you have been rightly prescribed Pan D to balance hyperacidity. However I would like to know -

what were his symptoms of heart disease before angioplasty ?
what were the symptoms which led to diagnosis of Ischaemic heart disease ?

If he get recurrent pain then you should also consider investigations for any abdominal conditions like stone etc. for this you should get ultra sound of abdomen.
Mean while he may take Tab. Meftal spas as per need..

My best wishes
Dr.Teli.

He got severe chest pain and was admitted in hospital.Velix injection was given and after 2 days angiogram was done and found that there were 2 blocks. So stents were placed.Initially he was given metxl 12.5,deplatt in morning, ecosprin 150 mg in after noon, storvas 40 mg and deplatt 75 mg in night. After a month the medicines were changed to metxl 12.5 in morning,CERUVIN AF 75+150MG TABLET in after noon, storvas 40 mg in night. The doctor has prescribed storvas 20 mg ez since he was feeling tired and was told it was because of high power of cholesterol tablet but i was continuing storvas 40 mg only.CERUVIN AF 75+150MG TABLET was started only from past 4 days and he was feeling more stomach pain from these 4 days only.Ultrasound scan was done only 2 months back and there were no issues found in ultrasound scan. When he followed the prevoius tablets of depolatt and ecosrpin there were no major

When he followed the prevoius tablets of deplatt and ecosrpin there was no major stomach pain but now when he started CERUVIN AF 75+150MG he was feeling more stomach pain.Is it due to the change in tabs.Is there any thing to worry

Brief Answer:
It may be due to combination

Detailed Answer:
hello,
It may be due to combination not well tolerated by stomach. You can certainly go back to split dose i.e. Ecosprin 150 in afternoon and Deplatt 75 at night. However you should inform your treating doctor.By changing to this mode of administration there will not be any issue as far as post stanting medications are concerned.Having done this if his symptoms are controlled it is fine...or you should conside for evaluation for other cause
My best wishes
