What Causes Stomach Pain While Taking Food?

Question: Hi,
My Daughter is 6 yrs old and she is facing stomach pain while taking food. mild pain will be there in centre of the stomach. it will happen everytime since 10 days.

The possibilities I think could be are:
1. Gastritis.
Pain after each meal could be related to viral gastritis. You can try lanzoprazole junior once daily before breakfast for a week to see it helps.
2. Worm infestation.
Pain at the center of abdomen could indicate worm infestation. Deworming with albendazole once every 6 months is advisable at this age.
If pain doesn't settle despite these measures consult your nearby doctor.
