Question : I have been taking methylprednisolone for 2 days now and my stomach is upset. What can I do and what can I eat. No appetite.

Well looking into your problem I will like to tell you that generally steroids have positive effect on appetite and increase the food intake . It can be possible that due to underlying condition for which you are taking steroids is leading to this . You have to tell whether you are having abdominal complaints like pain , loose motions in detail so that we can tell . also tell why are you taking steroids. Take care. Dr. Shruti

I am constipated. cannot sleep. Stomach ache.Taking med for ti going in hands and neck strain.

Brief Answer: Follows Detailed Answer: Dear Madam, For constipation You can take syrup lactulose 3 tsf with warm water at bed time after consulting your local doctor. Rest add isabgol to your diet , have papaya in fruits and drink lots of water , it will take care of your constipation . Dr. Shruti
