Thickening of the stomach wall is a nonspecific finding and CT scan is not accurate for adequate define of intraluminal lesions. However, this is abnormal finding and the worst scenario (cancer) should be ruled out by gastroscopy. Other causes are more common and much more benign such as ulcer or fibrosis. But as I said, tumor is possible even if you did not have symptoms,and gastroscopy should be your next step. Wish you good health. Regards
