default
Posted on Thu, 19 Nov 2015
Question: Hi there. 25 year old male. 6'1", 340lbs. I worry that I have an abdominal aortic aneurysm. I can see my pulse in my stomach from time to time. I experience slight flank pain that comes and go and saw some blood in my stool occasionally. My blood pressure runs high at work but is normal at rest. I have no history of these problems in my family.

Brief Answer:
THis is not abdominal aortic aneurysm!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms and all the inconveniences this has you. I have reviewed these symptoms and there is no reason to even suspect abdominal aortic aneurysm in you seen the symptoms, your age and teh absence of strong family history. The main problem is the fear that you have related to aneurysm and probably the fact that you are concerned about your BMI. Kick this out and be reassured that you do not have any traces of abdominal aortic aneurysm. Anxiety is more of the problem.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
